Ok as one of my new year's resolutions, i decided i would read three of KH's fave books....(probably more, but i just wanted something to motivate me to read more). I started The Picture of Dorian Gray but i lost it and can't finish it w/o a copy of it but i will eventually find and finish it. Catcher in The Rye is def. on my list since ya'll seem to recommend it so highly, nice that it's on Mat's list hehe.(it was checked out from my library, so i decided that one will have to wait). I just checked out of my library A Portrait of the Artist as A Young Man. So hopefully that'll be the first one I will read from their lists. I'm hoping to have it done by monday, that way i don't have to make an extra hour long trip to my schools library just to return it..hmph..that may mean a lack of post whoreness on my part over the weekend. To give something to discuss in this thread....discuss any of the books on the guys' fave books lists.

Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris...pretty interesting and quite bizarre at some parts, heh. For example, there's a chapter where he talks about his years at an art school..well, he was sort of in between going to school and working. He was hooked on speed and ended up making a bunch of crazy art out of trash and whatnot. Still a good book though.

I finished 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' a few nights ago. [Great book] This makes the third book in a row that co-stars a gay guy.

yeah that's on their list...
i started pic of artist as a young man and it seemed boring (but at the time i wasn't in much of a reading mood, so maybe that's why)...i loved picture of dorian grey even though when i first started that one i thought it was boring. ...hehe so probably should give portrat another chance.
