So I'm about as confused as I've ever been,
And I'm supposing that being confused about this is pointless anyway, so feel free to ignore this.
So I have this friend Travis. We have known each other forever. Like 4 years forever. Annnddd he's had a girlfriend for a while now. We're reallyreally close, like he tells me everything, me, not so much because I don't tell most people things. Anyway. We've tried being together about..twice now. And it didn't work because he always goes back to this one girl, and he only came to me because things were bad with them. Which is fine, because we're still friends and I knew what was going to happen anyway. We've been talking a lot lately. Like a lot a lot. We talked for like 4 and a half hours today [not all at once].
Then he started saying shit like 'god I really am terrible' and I was like ugh no you're not shut your face, why do you think that etc, etc. For about the past four days he's been saying he needs to break up with Moni [his gf] and that sort of thing, and we've been having realyl serious conversations for about a week. kdjsglkfdjs THEN he tells me why he's terrible. And he says he's terrible because he wants to be with me. And that's terrible because he's afraid that Moni will pull something and he'll leave me hanging again and he doesn't want to do that.
And I know that he'll do it again, but I can't help but think about it.
Lindsi says I'm a saint for putting up with him like I have.
I don't know what to do anymore.

That is a tough situation. If it were me, I probably wouldn't want to date him again. You said you've tried being together twice, and it didn't work out. Why would it work out this time? Obviously, I don't know the whole story, but I hope everything works out for you. Boys are too much trouble than they're actually worth.
