I heard about that eek!
We have a lot of tornado warnings around here (well not A LOT like other places but quite a few). i remember in first grade during a warning we had to sit w/ books on our heads in the boys bathroom...when you're like 6 and a girl being in the boys bathroom was gross eeewwwww cooties!

Awww... ..I used to be so scared of tornadoes when I was little. I went to go see "Twister" in theaters and covered my ears, n closed my eyes because I was so scared. Haha.. But anyways. I live in a valley, so tornadoes either never hit here, or if they did we'd be screwed. XP

Hehe i was like in middle school when twister came out and was all the rage....here the tornados come sometimes but RARELY ever touch down. During another warning Freshman year of high school, we were out during marching band practice (yup i was a band geek) and it was hailing out. A buzzer went off and the teacher is like it's just the noon bell, keep going, we're like dude, it's 1:30 not noon...he makes us keep marching and like 10 minutes later someone from the superintendant's office came and like you've gotta get these kids inside right now, there's a tornado warning.
Sorry i'm reminiscing and making you guys read them hahaha!

Ohhh geez. When I was in eighth grade I was in a homecoming parade, for cheerleading squad. (yeah, yeah i know. =P) And it was raining rather much. So much that there were mini floods and everything. We ended up having a tornado warning, but our coaches made us keep marching. Most of us ended up just leaving though.
Haha...Now you've got me reminiscing, too. XP

reminiscing is fun that's why i made that entire thread about it haha!! go post some reminiscent stuff in there. hehe. Silly coaches and band director's making us be all out in horrible weather. Megs, is the weather getting nicer there yet?
