In one of my classes (Media Tech II) we produce the Coaches' Show for our school's football team over at KAMU (local television station). It's a 30 minute show and in the past it has run on KAMU and KBTX (both local stations), but this year, we've added a third channel and the show will be airing at 6:30 Monday nights on The CW. This is super exciting for us because 1) we've never had this big of a broadcast before. We've only had stuff (football games, PSA's, etc) shown on local channels, so this is huge 2) we're going to be getting sponsors with means more $$$ for more fancy equipment (we've been trying to get a new toaster for forever). 3) a. we're broadcasting in high definition (so cool) b. the equipment at KAMU is AMAZING. 4) I'm the director, so this will be really great experience for me So as soon as it starts showing, I'll be calling all my relatives to Tivo it.
Anyway, everyone talk about school or awesome stuff that's happened to them.

Thanks guys! The first episode aired today, and will be airing the rest of the week. I'm really pleased. We only messed up twice; once when we left the bug in for half a second too long and a second time when we popped up a graphic twice, but it wasn't a big deal. Faulk didn't freak out and cry like I thought he would, and I'm excited about next week's episode.
