it was really weird since i never thought i'd experience an earthquake here in indiana... it's also weird how many thoughts managed to run thru my mind in the like 15 seconds it lasted... after it happened i wondered if my dog had known it was coming, 'cause he's been acting a little strange the last two days and animals can sense that kinda stuff... but when i went to look for him after getting outta bed, he didn't seem to have noticed it, just looked at me like "what are you doing up?" haha...

haha so grizz didn't seem too excited by it all =) Yeah, an earthquake anywhere outside of CA in the states always seemed quite far fetched...I didn't know there were any techtonic plates(haha I have no clue if that is truly what the stuff is called...I just know the last time I studied earthquakes was probably in like sixth grade...so that's what? 13-14 yrs ago?) under the midwest that would be rubbing together making us shake...but I am no expert, so what do i know (obviously very little)

hehe, now i'm all reading up on earthquakes... found this site listing all the earthquake activity by state (http://earthquake.usgs.gov/regional/states/historical_state.php#indiana) apparently there was a 4.6 magnitude earthquake in indiana back in 2002, i didn't feel that one, and it's pretty much the same distance from me as the one today (a little over 200 miles), so i guess that extra point on the richter scale makes a real difference in how far away it's felt...

yay for research! I can't believe there has been that many earthquakes outside of the west coast...the only one in MI was in 1947.
Wow all this posting back and forth reminds me of the good ol' days haha

haha. It's pretty sad that it takes an earthquake to create a buzz around here. Maybe if KH would a) tour in the states , b) start recording an album or c) post a journal update we'd be a bit more active around here, too.
Yay for earthquakes bringing us together. I wonder if Ali felt it...hmmm...
PS: thanks for shaking the board. I felt kind of left out missing the shaking from the earthquake (and all the after shocks).

I don't think there's ever been an earthquake in Texas.

according to Darbie's site she posted, there was a 5.8 earthquake in Texas in 1931 =)
We went to lake michigan and climbed a dune and stuff. My legs are going to kill tomorrow.

the winner sang "Black Dog". This girl was like a super great singer...and the second place was a hot rocker type guy who sang "Lips Of An Angel" (which I absolutely HATE that song, but he was good...)

I check in everyday and nobody has been posting =( so what have you guys been up to? I just joined My Lot. so my internet time has been being spent there haha. It's just like a discussion site. You start topics, reply to them and make money to do it. I downloaded a couple of the new Panic songs, just to see what I think...I like what I've heard. I bet people who were expecting A fever You can't ... part II are disappointed, but it seems ok the two songs I have.
