I remember when we were looking for houses: it takes forever =|
Buuuuut... happy news! I got a hamster! I was shopping with Maddie after school and we stopped by PetCo and I kind of bought her on a whim because she was so cute. I almost didn't because apparently there's some rediculous rule about having to be 18 to buy a pet but luckily we got around that.
Anyway, she's big and fat and cute and her name is Chunk.

Hamsters are like little furry rats! (I'm not a big fan of pets in general though...I do like fish as pets and that's about it...and I think a tarantula would be a nice pet too).
My parents are at the realtor's making an offer on a place *crossesfingers*

Do you see that white shit falling from the sky? It's not cocaine, it's SNOW! Real live snow! Snow in Texas, in March! How crazy is that! It snowed real snow for a solid ten minutes this morning (7:20-7:30ish) It was so badass. I haven't seen snow since the last time it snowed here (which was kindergarten). It's like 50 degrees out now, but it's all good.

Our snow is FINALLY melting!! woo! Though last year we got snow in april...but atleast right now it's sort of warm (high 40's/low 50's)...so maybe it won't get cold again (yeah right) *crosses fingers*
Our bid on the house wasn't accepted...but our realtor thinks if we rewrite it a little differently it would, but we might just keep looking.

it's always a little weird when some place so close has completley different weather, haha, 'cause down here we got rain all day yesterday, this morning i went to target for some random items and there was a bunch of snow in that area, and it's less than 20 miles away...

there was a bunch of snow in that area, and it's less than 20 miles away... That's how it is here. we got a little snow, but it wasn't enough for it to stick...then like 20 miles south they got snow that stuck. Tomorrow we're going to check out five houses. Maybe we'll get one of these ones...

I love real estate so that stuff is kind of fun...but it's frustrating, because of the VA loan. They are picky and stuff, but hopefully soon we'll get one.
I went to an Andy Warhol exhibit at the Grand Rapids Art Museum. Yay for a little culture in my life. There were some of his most famous pieces (some of the campbell's soup cans and two of his marilyn monroe prints...and a bunch of his JFK/Jackie pieces, which were from a private collection in Grand Rapids...can't believe anyone in GR owns that much warhol). We also did a little april fool's prank on my brother. he hates nail files/emery boards so we bought a bunch at a dollar store (96 of them to be exact) and hung them in my brother's room.

So, Johnny Depp and Christian Bale are in Chicago filming their new movie, and they were by my house Monday and Tuesday, but I was at school. But I've been hearing rumors that they're filming at some el stops tonight, so my friend and I are going to try to stalk them later. I'm excited.

I used to LIVE in platform/other for of high heels, due to my shortness. Good luck ali! and yayness for darbs for almost seeing johnny depp.
My brother was in an accident, but he's fine. his vehicle and the other one are both totaled. My brother ran over and had to pull the other girl from her vehicle. It was on it's side in swamp. The accident didn't hurt him, but he got all cut up from the window where he had to pull her out. I guess my brother's girlfriend hit her face on the dash and is a little swollen, but other than that, she's fine too.

One of the houses we looked at that we really liked, might be back up for sale soon...when we looked, there was already an offer on it....but my mom called the realtor today and she said that it looks like it will fall throught (we'll know for sure by monday, that's their deadline). The house was 2272 square feet 4 bd 1 full bath and then a 3/4 bath that is roughed in, but not fully finished. It has a living room, family room plus a bonus room...2 car attached garage and a huge pole barn. There is only an acre of land, but I'm ok with that. The realtor said that if the deal does fall through we get first shot at getting it because she knew how much we want it. My mom had called her a about it and told her how interested we were back when we first saw it and she kept our info and said she'd call if it doesn't go through. *crossesfingers* hopefully we'll be getting it.
